I have a Sony Xperia J phone..May be you are aware that since the Internal Memory of the phone is portioned, one will be recognized as phone memory and the other as SD card...
Since this SD card is not really the External SD card, all the media files of WhatsApp will be stored here and consumes internal memory a lot..

Please help me. it's been almost two weeks i'm having this problems. my phone is HTC Sensation XL CM10.1
the problem starts here, when i switch on my phone, it stuck on CyanogenMod, i restart my phone so many time but that wont help me, so what i did was i format my phone from bootloader.
so new problem appear again

Where is the location for custom recovery - is it on internal or external card?
I want to wipe the internal memory, keeping temp external card, reboot into recover and install custom rom from external memory, then reboot and remove internal memory.

Can i see the whatsapp message preview in the notification bar like i see in the regular sms? If multiple messages are received, whatsapp notification can only show no. of messages from no. of contact. I want to have something like only 1 message got, which I can send who is sending what to me.

Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a way to switch my 32gb sd card with my internal memory so I can install more apps. I m facing a strange issue with my nexus 4. Its related to SMS that I receive. Issue is all the messages gets save in internal memory but messages from one perticular contact is getting saved in SIM MEMORY. which is eating sim memory and once SIM memory gets full phone asks me to delete the SIM messages. and it is happening with only one perticular contact not with all.
I DON'T DO IT. I ONLY SHARE IT.

My HTC Incredible is always telling me I am low on memory. I will delete up to 20 MB, but it will still say I'm low on memory. I cannot send or receive picture messages, (I do not know if this has to do with the memory or not). It says I have 151MB free in my SD card, 6.14GB free in my internal memory, and 433MB free in my phone memory. What's up with this?
