I don't know if it's my provider (Appalachian Wireless) or what, but sometimes there's a huge delay in my phone receiving texts even when I have good signal. Anyone else experience this problem?
Just over the past few days, I've started having issues sending texts. No problem receiving texts (not that I know of, anyway....no one has complained about me not getting their texts). I can generally respond once or twice, or send out a few texts to different people, but then I get sending failures on everything. I use Chomp, but the same thing happens when I switch to the stock app.
I've had this phone for a while and recently I have not been able to receive texts. Usually I would just have to turn it in and off and I would get all the texts I hadn't been receiving. But as many times as I do or anything I try I haven't received any and I'm getting very frustrated. Please help!
Do you know if there is a way to momentarily stop receiving texts without losing them? I mean sometimes I m out with friends and I dont wanna be bothered by receiving texts and I dont want to receive them since they might read them etc.
Today, it seemed my Galaxy S3 wasn't receiving any calls/texts for quite some time. I only realized this when I tried to send the same text a few times and it just wouldn't send. My first thought was to restart the device and after doing so, I saw a voicemail and a few texts I had missed. What would be causing this? Not very convenient when you're expecting something important to come through!
The email app on my G3 is receiving texts in addition to the messages app. I use the email app for corporate (Exchange) email and when I go to my OWA or Outlook I see these texts there as well. Never happened on my Note 2 or Evo 3D. I don't really want my received texts showing up in my work email inbox! I can't seem to find a setting for this though. Anyone know?
Been having trouble with my HTC Incredible S recently. Texts rarely send, and I rarely receive texts, unless I turn off all data, and constantly reboot my phone and/or send texts to myself to kick starts texts into sending and receiving. I'd buy a new phone, but am waiting for the Nexus 4 to come back into stock.
I have problems receiving text messages when I am one of multiple recipients, it tells me the message failed and then I have to download it. It does this also with receiving pictures in the texts when I am the only recipient. And usually, fails when I try to send texts/pics to multiple recipients. Any fixes?
