Anyone know of a good contacts widget like quick contacts on a droid bionic? My most used app and I hate the speed dial on this phone. I don't want to have to remember who I assign numbers to. Thx
I have an HTC Droid Incredible 2. One of the formats which comes standard on the HTC which I like includes the FAVORITES people which I believe is called a widget. It is a screen where you can select contacts and, if they have photos (or not), it provides them as icons which you can use for speed dial or text (depending on how you set each contacts preferences).
The Favorite Contacts widget that came with my Razr often acts weird on bootup. I've saved a number of contacts to it, and at random times it deletes all of them from the widget such that the widget appears blank, though my favorites are still stored in the phone.
What I do is remove the widget from the screen, then restore it, and all my favorites are back on the widget.
A few months ago i started using GO Contacts. Back then, I had my contacts stored on my SIM. Later on, I moved all the contacts to the phone, and deleted them from the SIM. Ever since, every few days, I suddenly see my old SIM contacts in the contact list, and I have to delete them once again.
1. Other contact apps do not show these contacts, only GO contacts.
When I go onto my contacts none of my contacts are there. The contacts which are assigned to the phone are not there. I tried restoring it through gmail but there are no contacts anywhere. Changing the display options also has not worked. Names of the contacts are there but no numbers.
