General Problems moving contacts from Desire to One X

http://androidforums.com – Hi - I am having a problem transferring my contacts from my HTC Desire to my HTC one x. I have read another thread on here but I am still having issues on my Desire i have 206 (phone number) contacts. I have imported from SIM card to my google account and from my SD card to my google account - all of these seem to copy across Under 'Accounts & Sync' my google account is ticked and the last sync was the 3rd Oct so all should be fine there - i think? When i try and use transfer on my one x it copies over only 186 contacts - when i actually look most of these are email contacts a (General)

Hello, I'm trying to help my aunt who's bought a new Samsung Ace to sync her existing contacts (some on sim card, some on phone memory) to her new google account. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to be unable to change the contact group (sim, phone or google.com account) once the contact exists, just right when creating the contact.

I am using the NOTE 10.1 and my CONTACTS APP is not working anymore. All i did is selected a different gmail account for my contacts than before as i had migrated all my contacts to this account on my laptop. Someone disabling the current account contact sync feature and enabling the new gmail account contact sync feature has messed up the contacts app.

Hello all, I went through this weekend and deleted some contacts from Google that I no longer needed. However, my Evo 4G now won't sync with my google contacts. Whenever I try to Sync I get the message "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." GMail and Calendar will sync, only Contacts won't.

I followed the instructions on how to set up a cardDAV account from the google website http://support.google.com/mail/bin/a...&answer=275307. Everything went fine, except when I try to create a new contact. I have 281 contacts on my iCloud account, and when i switch to google it say i have 290.

I have an HTC Desire phone running Android 2.2 on Virgin Mobile UK.

All of the contacts I use on my phone are in the 'My Contacts' group of my Gmail account.

If I log into my Gmail account on a PC and edit a contact, for example changing a phone number, it syncs immediately with the phone.

Hello folks,

I have 2 gmail account setup on my HTC One X. Out of the two, contacts from only one account should be synced with the COntacts (address book) of the phone and it does show like that when I check under settings. But when I look at the contacts it doesn't really look like that.
