I have got rid of the 3 dot menu bar which is easy(zip file posted). But trying to remap recent apps was a fail. When I try to remap recent to menu it would affect home button not working so in the zip is the file the original file to remap buttons if you want to take a look and see if anyone here can remap recent to menu.
I'm in the middle of upgrading XP PCs to Windows 7 (reimaging actually since there is no direct upgrade path) and am wondering if there's a way to automate save/remap the Office MRU list (found in the HKCU registry) or export it to preserve it for the Win7 install? The Windows EZ Transfer Tool is a manual per-machine process and I don't want to go as whole hog as USMT.
I have ASUS P5Q Pro mboard with 8 GB ram, (4 x 2gb sticks). Memory remap enabled. Installed 64bit 12.04 ubuntu. Often restart or shutdown or boot would hang within ubuntu. BIOS says I have 8192MB. Memtest 86+ fails with 8GB and memory remap enabled.
If I disable memory remap bios says I have 7423MB, memtest does not fail and ubuntu 64bit boots, shuts down and restarts every time.
quick question, i'm on zeus 7.01 ROM, trying to modify every file in the system/usr/keylayout/, and change Key 217 (which is search button) to APP_SWITCH.. I wanted my search button to launch the recent apps window..
But after rebooting, seach button doesn't do anything.. Am I doing something wrong? or maybe the code APP_SWITCH is wrong? many thanks!
