General No wifi or 3G

http://androidforums.com – I am not sure what I have done to my Venice but somehow I have lost 3G and WiFi. Sometimes I can get them to come back but on average they are gone. They show as working but when I try Play Store, Browser, Games, Facebook anything requiring Data I get an error msg about Data service unavailable or something like that. Funny thing is while I am typing this my 3G suddenly started working again but still no wifi. I found the secret menu number and kicked around in there a bit. 3845#*730# if anyone is interested. Any ideas where to start would be great!!! Thanks! (General)

WIFI problem ics 4.0.4 37 weeks 5 hours ago

i have an unlocked at&t nitro hd and i use it in an asian operator

every thing was good until i decide update it to the new official ics 4.0.4

now when i wana conect to my wifi network it didnot show any wifi access point

i did factory data reset but it didnot work

once again i did a factory reset without sim card the phone setup wizard show my wifi and works great i test eve

It started yesterday. Since then I've tried several backups on a couple different roms, same result. I can connect to my wifi, or at least the phone says I am connected, but no data transfers. I can switch to 3g and I get data normally. I switched to wifi, let it connect, and I get nothing but connection and server errors.

If anyone is looking to get wifi tethering set up, I've found an app that works on the Venice, and it just happens to be free :)

My wifi is not working, on the menu on cM9 it just have this stupid message "Turning wifi on" and nothing happen... In other modes it says "wifi error", its not grayed but it says it.

Hello! I'm new to the Android phones and need some help. I connected my LG Optimus S to my home wifi network in order to save on data use with my carrier. I'm able to use the web with no problem if I use the browser but unable to download apps from Google Play. The downloading bar does not move or show any progress.

well we see many games requiring lots of space like 700mb they ask wifi to download them...many of them dont have wifi.. can u tell me some sites where i can download complete games like asphalt,NFS shift and many others without requiring to download additional data..

Facebook not working on WiFi 15 weeks 4 days ago

Sorry if it has been asked before I searched but couldn't find anything (I'm on my phone). Facebook keeps getting network error on WiFi but works fine on data. Anyone else had any issues? Was working fine before on same settings, ROM, kernel etc

Hello everyone.

I'm wondering if anyone have had the same problem I have. Since my firmware update on Friday I have not been able to use my data properly. When I go to the app store I can't download apps. I used to be able to and now I can only do so with WiFi. I can't even updatey widgets like the weather network either. But with WiFi I can.

And now a new problem has arised.

I can connect with wifi, but Im unable to browse using any browser and so as my installed apps like facebook, google playstore,Ym etc. Whenever i try to browse an error appeared that i must check my wifi network settings. when I try to use my facebook apps it says "connection lost". Wifi signal is great though.. :c

My OS is android gingerbread.
