My wife decided to get her and our two teenagers MetroPCS phones when her Verizon contract ran out. The cost of the MetroPCS phones is almost half what the Verizon bill was.
My wife picked the LG Connect.
About two weeks in, she decided these phones were just not working. In side our house she could NOT talk to anyone. The calls were so broken she has to go outside to hear.
If you’re a Verizon customer and you want to make sure you get your Samsung Galaxy S 4 on release day, you might want to head over to Best Buy because they are now taking pre-orders.
Verizon’s $3.9 billion deal to acquire AWS spectrum licenses has now been approved by the FCC. Along with this approval also comes a few other interesting deals, including a spectrum swap with Leap Wireless and a transfer of some of the AWS holdings to T-Mobile.
Brutal! Guess what guys? Verizon just pushed back the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S III! Really, no joke. The original estimated ship date was July 9th and now it’s the… 10th. OK, not to bad, eh? I know, I just wanted to build up the suspense a little before I broke the news. Anyway, for whatever reason they decided to push the ship date back and aren’t telling us why.

Today MetroPCS announced that sometime in October they would be releasing the Samsung Galaxy S III to their customers. I have a dual boot system with Windows 7 and Ubuntu. I use Verizon Mobile Broadband (HP un2420) to connect to the Internet on the Windows side. When I use Ubuntu I can't access the Internet unless I use Barnes and Noble or some other WiFi offered from a local business. I do not understand why my Verizon access doesn't show in the wireless connections to choose from when I'm using Ubuntu.
