In the settings there is a display, gestures and buttons menu now. In it there is a Recent apps button setting. You can pick the recent app button to be the menu button when tapped or to be the menu button when held. AWESOME!!
Please tell me you can get rid of that ugly black bar menu button in apps. Is there a way to route the menu button to holding down the back button or something? This will decide if I buy the phone or not.
Coming from the Original EVO 4G 1 day into this phone i am missing that menu button, most especially for closing apps. like when i'm browsing and i dont want to hi the back button 40+ times to close the browser.
Anybody else seeing this? The BBC News app has a menu button and yet I'm still getting the black bar. Pressing either of them bring up the exact same menu. I haven't noticed this redundancy with any other apps, though I'll keep an eye out.
is any one else having issue after changing recent button to menu button in gesture settings that menu dosent work on stock JB unrooted. works fine in apps, browser, nova launcher etc. i have it set to press for menu and press and hold for recents..... :crying::(
Hi.
I've seen some threads about mods for the menu button but never ending with a flashable zip.
I really like the CM10 feature of customising the long press of the capacitive menu button. I make it show my recent apps and that way I don't have to press the hardware home button.
Has anyone found a zip with this mod? It would be great to be able to use it with any Rom.
I have an application which runs full-screen and relies on the menu button. What I didn't realise is that devices like the Galaxy Tab use an actionbar which no longer has a menu button.
Here's the idea:
I'd like to remap the keys in my N7K as follows:
-Long press home button for search
-Press current menu button for multitasking (show open apps)
-Long press current menu button for menu option.
The others would operate the way they do currently.
Any kind person could help with this? Thank you in advance!
I have a problem with the tablet 10 that the menu button doesn't show for the user in my application, and I don't know why.
Have somebody passed for this issue too?
There are no errors, it works pretty well in cell phones , but in Tablet 10 in some applications it hide the menu button, how can I activate it?
