I've been looking or a case similar to the iPad smart cover with magnetic closure and came across this one http://www.amazon.com/Navitech-Rotat...+magnetic+case
It says it has magnetic sleep/wake function, which I assume means that it just closes with a magnet as I'm sure they didn't put a magnet in like the diy smart ass covers.
Has anyone tried it?
Hi people, this is my 1st thread here.
I was reading some threads and people was talking about P3110 doesn´t has a magnetic sensor. I running the Sensor List and it shows the Yamaha MS-E3 YAS530 Magnetic Sensor. So, I played with a earphone magnet and saw the values changing, of course.
So I was standing by a filing cabinet when my pants started sticking to it. I was laughing because it was funny but then I realized it was the money clip in my front pocket.
The thing is, I also keep my phone in that same pocket. Is it that bad to keep the phone so close to a magnetic money clip?
What could be the possible ramifications from it?

Q1:
To get the magnetic field vector in global coords i need to multiply the inverted rotation matrix and the magnetic field vector, why do i need to invert the rotation matrix?
Q2:
Lets say that i have a device and i can calculate the azimuth based on the rotation along the Z-axis using getOrienta
Hello.
Im looking for a magnetic phone mount/holder for my car but i have some concerns about using the magnets on an s3 (or any phone).
Can the use of magnets damage the phone in any way?
Also, I have read that it can interfere with the gps signal. Any one had any issue or know if it would make the gps malfunction?
What about nfc?
