Got my GSIII from Costco on Black Friday, and I can't believe it! Even though I got a good deal on it, wish I had gotten this phone earlier. Coming from an HTC Thunderbolt on its last legs, this phone is amazing. I can't believe how fast everything is, and how fluid everything is. And it's so light! I forget its in my pocket! Within minutes, I was rooted, thanks to the work done by devs.

Hi, I have a htc Wildfire S mobile running 2.3.5 and it's non rooted.
Last week I upgraded from my Thunderbolt to the Maxx HD. Let me first say that so far I am really loving this phone. Especially the battery.
I have been off work this week and spent the last 4 days painting the exterior of my house. My phone was fully charged when I started and has had VERY LITTLE use over the past 4 days.
Looking for some recommendations. I currently have a thunderbolt on Verizon. Time for an upgrade and can't really decide. The top phones I was looking at was the droid dna, razor maxx hd or the s3/s4.
I really don't like the larger sizes of the new phones. The size of the thunderbolt is perfect. Of the ones listed above, I think I'm leaning towards the razor just for the battery life.
I've had my phone for roughly a year and a half. I've had no serious issues with battery life until 1 - 2 months ago.
Typically I charge my phone via usb while I am at my computer through the evening, and it then remains off the charger until the next evening, unless needed at which point I will use either usb or wall charger.
So I'm having the same issues that a lot of other users have been having. Phone shutting off at 70% batt or so, battery super swollen. On top of that, my widgets disappear every time the phone is rebooted, forcibly or just shutting off. Now, it doesn't turn on at all. Just gets to the 4G page and stays there, then it gets super hot before I have to take the battery out. Any ideas?
Something is wrong with my thunderbolt. Before I started working about a month ago, my thunderbolt would last the entire day without a charge, even if I used it often during the day, but now my phone barley makes it to 2 o'clock, even with the phone using the least amount of power possible.
Could someone please help me.
