Hey all. I'm really new to android and I have some questions.
I have the optimus net from net10. As to my understanding, it runs off Sprints towers, but sprint has a contract with verizon so that they can roam on verizon towers. Can my phone roam on verizon towers?
I notice that my data icon and bars are sometimes white instead of green.
I know a lot of Sprint customers are wondering when LTE is coming and more importantly, will it be any good? PC Mag was able to do an exclusive test in the Atlanta, Georgia area using an LG Viper and compared them to AT&T and Verizon.
They found Sprint’s network to be much faster than it’s curent WiMAX network, which isn’t shocking, but not as fast as AT&T and Verizon.
Quick disclaimer, yes I am a noob with an Epic4G. My experience extends only as far as my rooting and flashing roms and modems for the past couple years, and recently PRL's using QPST.
I have an S2 with Sprint and while I love the phone, Sprint's lack of signal and speed is making me loose my shlt on a daily basis.
I'm at the point where taking the ETF hit is inconsequential to the quality of life I may enjoy with VZ.
Has anyone done what I'm talking about specifically from the S2 Sprint to the S3 Verizon? Are you happier????
I'm currently on my parents plan and have unlimited data and don't plan on losing it. I use about 10 gb a month, so taking the hit or switching to tmo and getting throttled is not an option.
So if ur on Sprint, how is their service and would you recommend a switch of u were me?
T-Mobile has joined Sprint and Verizon in offering Zoove’s StarStar Me service, letting users replace their phone number with their name.
Sprint was the first to adopt the service back in October, and Verizon quietly signed on shortly thereafter. T-Mobile’s use of the personalization product solidifies the service’s place in the U.S. wireless arena.
I am fully expecting Verizon to drop the ball again with the Note. To date there's only rumors of one coming to big red. That being said would it be possible to get a sprint version activated on Verizon's network?
Hi All,
Please excuse me if this is a dumb question. I am moving over from Sprint to Verizon and travel to India a lot. I know and believe I will have no problem roaming over in India on CDMA, as I do so often on Sprint and Verizon's website shows CDMA coverage as well. What I would like to know and double check myself on is being able to switch SIM cards.
Is there anyway someone could help me port the Verizon Android Revolution Rom to Sprint?? Thank you for any help!
