General Home Bar - strip at bottom of screen

http://androidforums.com – Hi, I wonder if any one can clear something up for me on the tab 2 - 7 and 10.1 the bit on the screen where the home icon is bar across bottom of the screen when playing movies - It appears that although the icons go the bar strip does not - is this correct or have i done something wrong I dont yet have the tablet - as this puts me off want to clear this up first because on a 10.1 note i saw today it did fully go and the movie used that part of the screen as well if this is a specific to the tab 2 7 and 10.1 is this the same for the 7.7 any help appreciated Thank (General)

I have had my AT&T branded Note 2 for about a week now and was wondering how to use the 4 icons on the bottom of the home\main screen (the screen you swipe before the security screen). It seems once I added security those icons dont work anymore unless I do the swipe.

Is there a way to setup those icons to work even if the device is locked?

I am having an issue with an Evo 3D. The phone has 7 home-screens on it. When you list them in the expanded view, there are two at the top, three in the middle, and two at the bottom.

For some reason, the screen that is to the right in the middle is the default home-screen. How that got set, I don't know.

Hi I need help removing and Icon Bar that's appeared on my Galaxy Note 2. It's blue and has a little semi-circle tab that sticks out on the edge of the screen and when you touch it an icon bar appears with random icons on it. I can edit the bar and move it from one side of the screen to another but I can seem to get rid of it.

When I hold down the Home key for a few seconds, a screen opens, overlays whatever is on the screen, and shows icons of the most recently used apps and utilities. Is there a way to clear this list, to remove specific items from the list, or disable the "Recent" function altogether? The menu button doesnt work on this screen, so there is no option to clear or delete from the list.

I want to customize my s3 home screen with my favorite "go to" apps and widgets. The problem is that it appears that there are actually 7 home screens, all of which share the main apps at the bottom. How can I set one to be the home screen the back button always takes you to?

I recently updated my operating system, & now I'm having an issue with the display. I have a Dell Inspiron Mini.

Does anyone know if there is a way to change those 4 default icons at the bottom of the screen.. Sorry if there is a specific name for them.. they are the: phone, message, internet, and camera icons...

I agree before-hand with anyone who wants to make the argument that tabs should be at the top of the screen, but I can't control the requirements for my app :) . I have to build an app with tabs at the bottom of the screen. I'm using SDK 14 and Actionbars. Is this even possible?

Hi friends, I have a small doubt which I need to clear with you all..I just installed Poland Play(4.1.2) firmware on my note 2... My original region was XSG(United Arab Emirates) and it was shown in the about screen(on the extreme bottom) with some IDs like TRA ID etc... But after updating Poland FW, I couldn't see that kind of info... I have changed the CSC to PRT...
