When I've a sms/incoming call. Both my handset and earpiece will ring.

I have a VOIP number setup with linphone and IPKall. I am using my old MagicJack to connect my handset. The handset works for voice input and output, but when I receive a call, it only rings in the handset speaker, so I have to set the output device to external speakers in order to hear an incoming call. Does anyone know how I can make my handset ring like a normal phone?
When i receive a call while i am paired to my Bluetooth earpiece the ringtone that comes though on the earpiece is not the same ringtone that is set up on my phone, in fact the ringtone that plays on my earpiece is not even listed in my phone.
As of yesterday, my earpiece has started to crackle or pop during calls. I'm running Franco Kernel r55 and there is no gain or volume boost on the earpiece. I'm wondering if the speaker could have gone bad?
So I was doing a tattoo for a friend, and accidentally dripped a little on my phone while putting the ink into an ink cap, and a drop got into the round grill for the earpiece speaker. Now, when I call someone, I can Barely hear it ring, I can't hear my voicemail talking to me, and its really worrying me!! Idk what to do here, as I'm sure its already dried up in there!
I only noticed after the recent 4.2 update that I am now able to connect my Plantronics Bluetooth earpiece from work to the tablet, before I could pair it but it wouldn't connect. I use Google voice with GrooveIP to make and receive calls on the tablet so the earpiece would be a killer addition *but* all I can get the earpiece to do is 'beep' when making a call.
The one big issue I have with this phone (Galaxy note 1) is that an upgrade to jelly bean has rendered the bluetooth mostly disabled. I have a motorola earpiece that works with it but voice commands don't work at all recognition is bad and it also I noticed today puts the audio through the earpiece but the voice actually only registers on the phone mic directly.
Following friends is kind of complicated to explain but here goes
* My Moto X is presenting a problem in the earpiece, which happens when I connect the phone it sends the sound to the high native speaker and mute, it happens fast and well as an infinite loop.
First post =) I finally gave on up BlackBerry and I am now very much in love with my Galaxy 3! I'm trying to see if it's possible to set one of my personal ring tones for text, etc. When I pull up the menu to select ring tones, it only gives me the option of using the stock ring tones. The only time I've been able to select from my own ring tones is for the actual phone ring tone.
