Anyone have problems with their gtalk accounts using empathy? AIM works fine with empathy, but gtalk won't connect. There are no errors.

I couldn't find a forum specifically for empathy so I thought I'd ask here - if no one knows can anyone point me to a better place to ask?

I use gmail account for chat, but i want gtalk standalone application just like in windows. can i install standalone gtalk client on linux ?

Hi, im new to this forum and im kind of desperate as i lost my phone tomorrow, so in need of a phone asap. i stumbled upon this samsung galaxy camera yesterday but the salesperson told me it does not have voice call function unless you use skype and stuff. but skype is not being used frequently in singapore. so is there any apps which i can use to make normal voice calls in singapore?

I'm having a problem with gtalk. When I'm having a video call and select to see webcam video on full screen, the screen just goes gray, and freezes gtalk.

Already tried to google help for it but not successful yet.

I use my phone in my car a lot and I want to be able to make calls without touching or looking at the phone. So far my old old Windows mobile phone does better than any Android app I’ve used with my new Samsung Galaxy s3 with Ice Cream Sandwich.

The features I’d like to see are: 1. Can initiate a call without touching the phone.
