Periodically my LG Optimus V has lost the Google Play Store icon since I bought the phone a few years ago. Google help gives me some mysterious story about me needing to contact the phone manufacturer because Google controls what devices it can be installed on. Howver, then Play appears again out of nowhere. Play also not available for download on Google Play Store online from a computer.
I am trying to download a play list I made on Google play to my samsung galaxy s5. After a few minutes the download errors out. I have gone to settings> application> application manager>Google play music and cleared data. Am I missing something or is Google play having issues. The Playlist is about 450+ songs. Does my computer have to be on? Any help would be nice. Thank you
When I first got my phone, I just used the software from Mototrola to sync my music on to my phone (I use Google Play for music). I've now found out how you can just download it straight from the Google Play website and on to your phone.
I am looking for a way to download device apps such as the Kreyos phone app ( these are all free apps) from Google Play store and be able to get those apk's off of the phone and on to my Android tablet.
I have been using a Nexus 7 which has worked well but the last couple of devices I have purchased, Google Play will not allow me to download the apk because my Nexus 7 is not a phone.
hi all - not a smart smartphone user, so be gentle. ....
I can play all of the music that I moved from pc and itunes on my s4. but, when I try to find any purchase I have made from googleplay (purchased using my phone) I cannot find them on any music player (eg default, Rocket).
I can play them on the listen function direct on Google play (wifi) and they show as purchased.
I'm fairly new with the S3, Google Play and Android in general. I purchased an album via the Play store and am using Google Play Music to play it. I have downloaded it to my device using the 'Keep on Device' option but am not able to find the files in the phone in the sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.music/cache/music folder.
I purchased an album from google play that I want to play in Winamp. I don't own a PC or a USB cable so I can't use Download Manager. How can I get the MP3 files? They are not in /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.google.android.music.
My girlfriend recently had her phone stolen and I'm trying to track it down by remotely installing apps on her phone via google play, but I can't tell if the apps are succesfully installed. For example, if I turn off my phone completely, and install an app on it from google play, it will still report "installed" even though my phone's turned off.
