This is my first post not had an android phone for long. I am confused about transferring apps to the SD Card.
Most of the apps I have downloaded give an option to transfer to the SD card. At first I thought this must be to the external SD card. But it turns out that this is to the internal SD card, but there is no internal SD card.
Sorry if this question has been asked before. Why does the GS3 just automatically save every download to phone stoage. When I go to "my files" it shows extsdcard and Sdcard which is the phone storage I guess? When I download wallpapers from Zedge, or pics from the internet, they aren't being saved on my sd card that I put in the phone. Why is that? Can I change that?
For some reason when I download an app it only seems to save to my internal phone memory which consists of not even 500 MB. Anyone know how to do this?
One morning I wake up and found my phone switched off. I thought the battery was drained out and tried charging it and switching it on. It did not switch on, so I removed and put the battery back in place.
Things you will need and to do
-A memory card (preferable a spare one), and also preferable smaller that 2GB
-A Phone
-Backup all the info on the memory card, we will be formatting it!
Section 1 - Creating a Goldcard on a working phone
Step 1) Get memory card CID and goldcard image
-Insert the memory card you wish to make into a goldcard into the phone.
-Go to Settings/SD and Phone st
I recently rooted and flashed the Jellybean 4.2.2 rom and I absolutely love it, except on one phone the battery isn't charging at all and on the other phone the battery takes more then 8 hours to fully charge from 25%. I read that other people having slow charging issues and I haven't found a solution so if anyone knows of one that would be great.
I bought a pay as you go Android phone from Wal-Mart for about $130 and the be completely honest I want to throw the thing into the wall.
Not sure if it's the phone itself or the just the operating system. My biggest issue is the fact that when the phone attempts to download new apps or update existing apps it says I have no storage.
Have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus. When wifi tethering, the phone gets so hot that it discontinues charging and slowly discharges the battery, about 1% every 10 minutes or so. I have no over clocking, in fact I'm using the Franko kernel which turns off CPU1 when the screen is off.
Only things I've found is to take the phone back off and blow cold air on it to restart the charging.
Being a newbie at Android, I upgraded my memory card from a 4 gig to a 16 gig yesterday and discovered this problem.
