Just got an update around 1:30am that seemed to fix the 4g radio in my phone. Seems to be working the way it should have been before the last update jacked up our radios. Everything seems to running good now.
I recently rooted my phone and I am very new to this. I have a samsung galaxy s3. I rooted my phone just to install titanium backup and freeze/remove bloatware. Now my phone says it has an update. I know I shouldn't use the standard update, and that I need to update radios(?) and the rom.
Still on GB and I've notice my phone is just getting jacked up as the days go by so I want to update to ics to see if that'll fix the problems, but when I try the OTA update and even the manual one, I get a messages that says:
The software update failed.
Now I have rooted my phone once to use a ps3 controller and then eventually never used the controller after a while and unrooted.
I have the Galaxy s4 (Sprint) and Today I received an icon saying Android system update which is 119.2mb I was wondering what is this update about. Is it 4.4.3? I'm not sure. I already have the Kitkat 4.4.2. (Which I updated a few weeks ago even though the Icon was on my phone for months lol). If you know what the update is about can you give me a review about it.
S-offed my phone and flashed a new radio (the one in the Fix Everything thread) and noticed that it really helped with my signal fluctuations, but my 3G is still slow to the point of being absolutely unusable.
So I have a 4.3 galaxy s3, and recently it was presented to me by a friend that 4.4 is available. So I was on 4.1 having gotten no notifications from my phone for an update and decided to update last night. I cleared the download bug, but now it says there's a software update but when I try to update it says the device is up to date. Any ideas?
Alright, for those of you who have gotten the update, did it go well? I'm reading, over on the Nexus 4 forum, all kinds of issues for a good majority of the folks that got the update. Some are having failed updates, others are having software issues after the update, just a general all around fail for most people. What about the Moto G?
