I recently flashed back to Eaglesblood AOSP 4.0.4 just because I felt like having something new and missed the slight hwa and ICS look and feel. However, not having a battery percentage option built into the ROM is driving me crazy. I've been looking for a mod/zip/addon/etc that will give me a battery percentage instead of a plain old batter icon meter.
hello i don't know yet if this belongs here or if this question has been answered somewhere else but ill ask it anyway. I am Running #! and am using tint2 everything is almost to my liking on it but one thing the battery, wifi, sound and copy history icons are ugly to me. What i want to do is remove the battery copy history and volume icons.
(This is not a duplicate as this question describes how to add custom icons to folders in Nautilus, whereas there seems to be no explanation for Thunar.)
In Nautilus (as this questions shows) there is the fun feature of being able to place any custom icon onto a folder by just right clicking the folder, clicking the folder in the menu that comes up and selecting a custom icon.
Running 14.04 and just ran some updates this evening and after I restarted the computer, my theme and icons were all reset back to the default. Using Ubuntu Tweak and Unity Tweak Tool still shows my custom theme and icons selected, however, it's not actually using those themes. Also, if I try to change the theme/icons to something different, nothing happens. Any ideas?
I searched to find information on how to change icons (not emblems) for specific folders in Thunar, to my surprise all I found was 2 years old bugtracker entries. So, now it's 2014, has it been added yet? I can't imagine it'd be that big a project to implement custom folder icons...
If it's not possible, would you recommend an alternative file manager?
