Have been looking for an app--a lost phone app. I would like an app that 1. Can force-on GPS. 2. Can wipe phone and SIM. Any app out there that fulfills these requirements ? Cerberus app seems good, but states that on non-rooted phone, can NOT force-on GPS to locate phone. Seems Cerberus only has this option on Android 2.3 and below. Why can Cerberus not force on GPS on my phone ? Why would Android 4, etc. restrict this important function (General)

hey guys there's 2 apps here that you should check it out. my personal favorite is cerberus anti theft it does cost 3 dollars after 15 day trial.. they both have basic the same future

this app can be use to track you phone, tablet, kids, wife, etc.....

I have Nexus 7 32GB WiFi version, and I was wondering if it was ever stolen or lost, how would I be able to track it down or at least wipe it clean? I already have the Cerberus app installed, I'm not rooted by the way. And I keep thinking about how it needs internet connection to function correctly so, the Cerberus app would be useless if it wasn't connected right? Or am I wrong?

I've been evaluating the Cerberus anti-theft app on my Galaxy Nexus. Overall it's a great app and I recommend it, but I've discovered one serious (but easily corrected) flaw. When one sends an SMS text message to the stolen phone, it can be seen by the thief and will almost certainly alert him to the fact that it's being tracked.

Hi guys I'm having issues with a force close,

Force close started coming up on a daily basis stopping me from viewing my picture gallery and facebook. Now i turn on my phone and get a message saying the phone was doing a force close, "it is turning my screen to idle and says i have no sim or nthe process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly.

I have a rooted mytouch q slide from t-mobile. I was playing around with it and deleted some crap using one of the root uninstallers. Everything was fine but then i downloaded a new keyboard app and after playing with it...it froze. On reboot it force closes "com.android.phone" which leaves me with these barebones apps and I can't make phone calls.

... and the touchscreen doesn't work?

I have cerberus installed, so was thinking:

Wipe with cerberus Enter download mode Flash stock rom with odin

Would this be enough? would any of my data remain?

hi guys i really ur help !i replaced my phone.apk an now it's force closing !! i have the backup of my original phone.apk but the thing is that i cant get past that force close error ....what should i do ??? can it be done through pc ? i have windows operating system !!
