http://androidforums.com – I want some opioins i noticed as of yesterday my android os woukd stay around 20 25% under light use and its normally at 5-10% heavy use my screen use is usually the high one and thats been staying between 10-20 No new apps or anything have been downloaded And my battery had been dieing really quick could something be keeping it awake that wasnt before Im on 4.1.1 and also noticed my battery drained like 15% throughout the night as i forgot to plug it in and it normally drains between 2-5% (General)

Im running Mobster 2.5 and up until about a week ago I was enjoying excellent battery life. With an extended battery and light use, I could get close to 3 days from one charge. However, recently the battery is dieing very quickly and I can charge the battery to 100%, take it off charge to place at the side of the bed, and in the morning the phones completely flat.

Hey guys, I recently got Jelly Bean(last night) and today I noticed the batery has drained about 30% quicker. At the moment it was at 28% battery after 7.5 hrs of use. The screen was on for 3hrs. When I had ICS it was much better than this, Im getting about 8 hrs on full charge with light use. It says my screen has taken 61% of the battery and Voice calls 33%. I keep my screen at 1/3 brightness.

Battery has been draining at an alarming rate, even when in airplane mode when im asleep at night. Noticed it's awake when screen's off.

This is so annoying, i have no rogue apps, gps is off etc.

Anyone with the same problem?

I recently themed my phone using Nova Launcher (did a fairly good job too) and it's a three screen layout with 7 widgets. Ever since I've installed it my battery drains far too quick. For example I charged my phone completely at 9pm last night before I went to bed and by 3 am my battery had completely drained.

Ive recently noticed that my battery runs out very quickly, it is totally drained in 2 hours with moderate to heavy use (excluding gaming)

I though it was the rom at first but I'm not totally sure because the battery used to make to through the day but now it totally sucks

I want to know if its the rom or battery, I'm currently using 3.0 SDSL

Hi everyone, a while ago my phone's battery started draining very, very quickly. Even with the screen off pretty much all the time and no apps running, the battery drained within 3 to 4 hours or so. So I bought a new, 3500mah battery (old one was around 1400). This increased the battery life but it still drained for no reason. I updated my ROM several times but it didn't fix it.

hi few weeks back my phone battery dropped from 100% to 70% within 10mins:frown:! no wi-fi, bluetooth, gps or any sync on.

i installed the cpu spy and found the phone wasnt going into deep sleep... uninstalled every app i had but the battery used to die in 1hr !!!!:confused:

tried a reset to factory default and it worked for few days but has started again, now with no apps and battery wen

...im running a stock 2.2.2 optimus 3d. I factory reset it last month after my wifi had issues. I have 17 apps from Google play downloaded. As well as a 16 gig SD card. My phone will randomly shut off 3-4 times a day. Usually under heavy usage. I game text surf etc. During standby I get great battery life. The min I use regular to heavy the battery just drains in a blink of an eye.

I got my VM GS2 4G the first weekend it came out. I liked the advertised battery life, but quickly realized that my phone suffered from heavy battery drain as many of them do.
