Finally Samsung started rolling out the Jelly Bean update for the tab2 10.1 but here's the thing. My sis, who has the exact same model, did get an update to Jelly Bean (4.1.2) and I didn't. She had a slightly newer version of Android (4.0.4) than me (4.0.3) but I thought the update would cover ALL tab 2 10.1s so what's the deal? Am I screwed out of an update or just not patient enough?
It’s certainly long overdue, but Motorola has finally started the initial rollout of the coveted Jelly Bean update to the DROID Bionic smartphone. The update will bring the software build to 98.72.22.XT875 and the Android software to version 4.1.2. Owners of the device will be treated to the usual JB goodies like Project Butter, Google Now and a smoother UI.
fyi- Just received the OTA Acer OEM Jelly Bean 4.0.3 update for my iconia A100. Updated from Honeycomb 3.2.1 in 5 separate updates. Runs very smooth & stable. Please delete this post if there's already a thread for it. Thanks.
Just want to let everyone know that the 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update is now live in the US. I just checked for the update not even 6 hours ago and was not available. However it is now. I just received it here in Texas.
I'm really enjoying it! Having fun playing around with Google now and voice search. Very cool app.
