General 2 player game across android and IOS?

http://androidforums.com – Hi guys, So I need some help. My brother is currently confined to bed rest due to an accident and the boredom is killing him. Sadly he only has an iphone, while I have an S3, so I've been trying to play chess with him but the the app "Chess Time" keeps crashing or being unable to access. Are there any suggestions for a game that doesn't require dexterity to operate (this is why chess was good as it's more thinking than doing) and works across IOS and android? All suggestions appreciated Thanks (General)

Hey everyone,

I like a good game of chess and have as a Windows user used Yahoo Chess, but Linux, specifically Ubuntu 12.04, does not seem to want to load the board on Yahoo Chess. I suspect it is a Java problem, but cannot say for sure. I'm using firefox.

Can anyone offer a solution or suggest a similar forum for chess on Linux?

I installed a Windows XP compatible package called Majestic Chess using Wine.

When I click the chess game's icon it starts up the CD drive with the Chess Program CD as is required to run the game but then after the CD whizzes around for about 20 seconds, nothing happens.

I am a newbie and running Ubuntu 12.04.
