So got my first android phone, and now have a problem. I was out this evening listening to music, and trying to take photos.
Problem 1) sound. I want to take photos with the shutter sound off.
First of all, you should probably know:
- It is rooted
- I renamed the camera click .ogg sound files using ROM toolbox pro, but the camera app still makes the shutter sound
Is there any way to disable the camera shutter sound? I've been scouring the internet for solutions and thought rooting my phone would do the trick, but now I can't seem to be able to even accomplish this task with root.
I have been trying to disable the camera shutter since it is so annoying when taking pictures. I downloaded a file explorer and went to /system/media/audio/ui and found .ogg sound files, I renamed the camera_click.ogg to camera_click.ogg.bak and restarted the phone. The shutter sound still persists, is the sound file located somewhere else?
I'm looking for a notification sound that one of my old buddy's had on his galaxy note. I think the sound was called "oh my message" and the sound when you played it was "ohh ahhh". I think it was a stock notification sound. He beamed me the sound a while ago, but my phone recently got wiped and I no longer have it.
I have looked all over the web and I can't find it.
before i use the camera it doest have sound then i found out the next day when i use it, it has sound then im trying to look at the setting, and ask somebody they didn't found out too, please help.
How can I make the camera shutter sound louder? I love it, and want it loud so I can always hear it in noisy locations.
:D
Ok, this is pretty frustrating.
I want my messages to use ONLY sound when on sound mode, and ONLY vibrate when on vibration.
You'd think it's as easy as just pressing the sound/vibration key on the drop down menu, but it's not.
Hello,
I would need to know if there is the possibility to connect a USB DAC via an OTG cable to the Galaxy Tab2?
It works with the Samsung Galaxy S3 so I assume that it should work with the Galaxy Tab2 also?
Furthermore I would like to know if the Voodoo Sound mod will support the Galaxy Tab2 and its Wolfson WM1811?
If so, did supercurio announced a release date already?
Google advertises the galaxy nexus for having zero shutter lag, it uses similar hardware as the sgs4g. (The gpu is the same) How come we get a slight shutter lag on ics but the galaxy nexus doesn't?
