http://forums.androidcentral.com – Hello, I've been noticing a problem with my s3. I noticed the camera failed to start when I opened the camera app, and it said camera failed to start. I restarted the phone which seemed to fix the problem, but after switching the cameras from front to back the whole phone itself crashed and rebooted. hi guys..I'm new here..have this problem with my tablet..it always shows camera failed everytime I open it..i've tried almost anything to revive it..

here's what happened..

1. I've upgraded to custom ROM using cm nigtly release..(forgot what version)..then camera failed..

2. Restock it with the orig ROM 2.3.3 gingerbread using ODIN..still camera failed

Hi good afternoon, I have red some forums for my SGT p1000, but never found answer to my question.

I have tried several ROM (4.04, 4.1.1) but still can't find the one with good camera. While opening the camera, it always crashed "Camera not responding". Also, tried some application from Google Play as advised in other forums but they still failed.

Just recently started using camera on samsung note and i get nothing but black screens like in some videos on youtube regarding samsung gs3

I also get bubble message over camera display: "warning camera failed" but if i restart phone and activate camera again i can still access all settings but then app crashes saying kill off or wait for app come back.

My phone is turned on for hours, then i was going to use my camera. When i tap on my camera icon , my camera just show a black screen and a notice saying "Camera failed", anybody here knows why?

today I upgraded the firmware on the tmobile note 2, had a quadrant benchmark of 6400. when I went into the camera, the "camera failed" dialog appeared I restarted the phone, and the camera worked. Does this happen sometimes after upgrading the firmware? The firmware update was OTA

Samsung continues their connected devices push by adding the Galaxy Camera. A variation of the Galaxy Camera made it through the FCC with 3G connectivity and looks like it will be on the AT&T network. I don't know if that's the problem or not. When I saw few reviews on the web the HOX's camera was compared to sgs3,sometimes a bit worse, sometimes even better than samsung. In my girlfriend's phone the quality is very very low, much worse than my galaxy s2. I mean weird contrast, discoloration and pretty high noise. The phone is running on the latest stock rom 2.17.401.2.

so I've been taking pictures on the front and the back of the camera and sometimes the picture quality gets a little bit blurry or a lot blurry. I've cleaned the lens on both the front and the back and that only seems to temporarily fix the problem if it fixes the problem at all.
