I have two LG Optimus V phones. Suddenly yesterday, one started having an issue where the phone doesn't seem to be recognizing the charging status of the battery. The battery is not the problem. I put in the battery from the working phone into the sick phone and it does not recognize that the battery is fully charged from that phone either.
For some reason my phone pretty much discharges itself completely in about 30 hours while idle. Im pretty sure this is nowhere near the norm. I had similar problem on my Galaxy S2 about once every three months (continuously on), and then going in recovery and wiping cache fixed that.
On my Galaxy Nexus, I tried that, I reset it to factory both inside the Android, and from recovery mode.
hi
few weeks back my phone battery dropped from 100% to 70% within 10mins:frown:!
no wi-fi, bluetooth, gps or any sync on.
i installed the cpu spy and found the phone wasnt going into deep sleep...
uninstalled every app i had but the battery used to die in 1hr !!!!
tried a reset to factory default and it worked for few days but has started again, now with no apps and battery wen
I am not 100% sure if it's just me or if my battery is bad now.
My phone has been out of the charger for about 6hrs 20m. Screen time is 56% time on for 1h 2m. Battery is at 68% right now. I don't remember a few weeks ago my battery draining this fast. I JUST reformatted my phone so everything is clean and fresh. So I'm not sure if I should buy a new battery or not.
My battery charge used to last all day. A couple of months ago, it fell to about two hours tops. I replaced my old 3500mah battery with a brand new 3500mah battery. No changes. I use all the standard battery saving techniques such as screen timeout, screen brightness, leaving unneeded radios of, etc..etc..
Is it possible software upgrades or some rogue application is killing my battery.
Hello
So i'm the owner of an 3 months old SGS3. Yesterday i was using my phone as usual and had it next to me on my table, then a few hours gone i get a message on facebook asking why i don't pick up my phone, i thought well i hadn't got any calls, so i picked up my phone to see if i missed them.
I've seen lots of battery life forums, and most of them show great battery life (over 12 hours) with lots of screen time. I'm not even in an LTE area, but I get very good signal. My screen brightness is at about 30% and I have two e-mail accounts (Exchange push and Gmail sync).
Usually I charge my battery at night. Then use it all day.
My battery have 30-40% left on next day evening.
But on yesterday evening, I transfer data from PC to my phone via USB cable.
It takes around 10-15 minute.
I don't know how many battery left before connect but It should have 30-40% as usual.
but affter I disconect my phone. I notice that my battery is 95%.
Hello,
I know there have prob been loads of posts on this.
I got my S3 the other day, awesome phone but concerned with the battery.
I have wifi, mobile data, bluetooth off. Screen brightness low and auto off. Power saving on. I have juice defender on and no facebook or anything like that.
Since i took the phone off charge this morning at 6 (2.75 hours ago) the battery has gone down to 90%.
