We previously mentioned that you should expect the official launch of Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S III to be on July 10th. Verizon has now made that official with their press release. Pricing is at $199.99 for the 16GB version, and $249.99 for the 32GB model.

As we inch closer to the impending launch of LG’s Nexus 4, Verizon has put the Galaxy Nexus on sale. Last year’s Nexus smartphone is now available for $230, with no need to sign up for a painful new contract.

It is common sense that the longer a phone sits on the market, the more the value is depreciated. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is a great example of this. Upon release, I remember the phone selling for well over $250 on a two-year contract, and over $600 to purchase the device without any agreement. Luckily the folks over at Verizon Wireless have made a deal to good to refuse.

We heard rumblings about a Samsung phone baring the model GT-i9260 for a couple of months now. It was referred to as the Galaxy Nexus Superior when it first leaked. From the leaked image above, we can clearly see it’s not a Nexus since it has TouchWiz on top of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Rumored as the Galaxy Nexus successor, the Galaxy Premier GT-I9260 smartphone will feature a dual-core 1.5 GHz mobile processor and 4.65-inch Super Amoled display.

If you’re looking for a 4G LTE tablet at Verizon Wireless, there’s a new player in town. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE was released today on Big Red and will go head to head with the DROID XYBOARD 8.2.

I am getting a Galaxy Nexus tomorrow in a trade. My S3 for a Galaxy Nexus 32GB plus $90 cash. It's the Verizon i515 model. I was thinking about rooting it when I got it. I also have some questions about it, though. 1) I heard from a friend that has the Galaxy Nexus Sprint model, and he said I have to unlock the phone before rooting it.

Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus is now priced at $99 with a 2-year contract, which means it will probably get discontinued soon. The biggest sin is the full retail price still remains the same at $649.  It’s still a great phone and you can’t beat the price for those that want to get the stock Android experience. Will you be getting the Galaxy Nexus now that it’s only $99?

Samsung and Verizon announced today the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available for $499 through Verizon, fully equipped with LTE. The specs are similar to the WiFi version we’ve already reviewed, but it does come with a little less memory and is likely to be slightly heavier to account for the cellular radios.
