Future of Enkompass??

http://forums.cpanel.net – Good morning, So we recently decided to retire our aging Windows hosting server on which there were only a few accounts but each of them required MSSQL so, being a cPanel shop, we started putting an Enkompass server together for consistency's sake. There's no real mention of this on the Enkompass pages but lo and behold, it's no longer in development. This leaves me with a few questions: 1. I know Enkompass has gone through more than one rebirth in the past. Is it going to go through another rebirth? 2. The default update configuration is using the Edge Tier. Curious. Is that (HowTos)

Hi,

Our Enkompass (v3.0.0.60) has started suspending multiple accounts over the last few days due to bandwidth exceeding. What we've noticed is that when we look at the AWStats of the account (in its WSOI control panel), it shows that the bandwidth used is way under what Enkompass is saying has been used. Enkompass is starting to suspend more accounts as each day goes by.

We're just getting an Enkompass server set up and it's been running for a couple of weeks with a few test accounts on it. The backups have been partially or wholly failing frequently though. There are 3 accounts on the server and sometimes all three of the backups fail and at other times only one or two accounts fail but there is no consistency to which one(s) fails.

Hi All, i have install and configure Enkompass successfully and now i can access "Enkompass - SAI" Module but Unbale to login "Enkompass - WSOI" Module.

i did try all the Users/Pass combination and getting these 2 type of Errors!

1) Your account has been removed from the system. 2) Your credentials are invalid.

Hello,

I'm new on Enkompass, always used cPanel with great success as well as IIS and other services.

After a few reviews and investigation I've the following matter on my mind and i'm not sure what's best.

1. It's recommended to create a Domain only for Enkompass?

i have a large number of servers on my Enkompass domain.

So now i want to add one mysql server which is on x86 architecture, can i add it to Enkompass sistem (mysql and web log service) will that work.

I have just installed Enkompass and I am having a few issues with the setup.

Firstly, when entering the SMTP details, when I click "Save" (there is no test button like the instructions suggest) it clears the password - every time?

The main issue now is that when looking at the servers and services page (Step 5), there is only the 1 server which is the Enkompass server running Enkom

I have Enkompass setup on a test VPS that does not have a domain pointed towards it.

How would I be able to create and test some PHP web applications, and have them work from port 80 from the IP of the VPS?

So i have Enkompass server and still one server for web accounts in same domain.

When i put PHP web site on D:\ disk then site works fine.

When i put PHP web site on \\servername\d\ then i got Internal Server Error 500.

So what is here wrong with PHP configuration.
