Fuse/gvfs-fuse-daemon Troubleshooting

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Currently running FC11 with 2.6.30.8-64.fc11.x86_64. Anytime I reboot and become root and do a 'ls -al' the terminal locks up b/c it cannot display or have the permissions to display /root/.gvfs. I have to go and kill -9 the following processes in order to view the hidden files of my home directory root 3217 1 0 Oct30 ? 00:00:00 /usr/libexec//gvfs-fuse-daemon /root/.gvfs root 3222 3217 0 Oct30 ? 00:00:00 /bin/mount -i -f -t fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon -o rw,nosuid, nodev gvfs-fuse-daemon /root/.gvfs I tried doing a umount -l ~/.gvfs but it simply just sits there as well. Does anybody know how to prevent or avoid gvfs-fuse-daemon from doing this? How do you debug/troubleshoot fuse daemon? Are there any service scripts I can restart to fix this? I'm not seeing anything useful in the system logs. Thanks in advance for the help. (HowTos)
