Full screen with Intel GPU on Fedora 11?

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I can't get any resolution other than 1280×800 out of my laptop screen (specs are here: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showpo...&postcount=358 ) This laptop came with Ubuntu, which I liked until I tried the Karmic beta, and their spying on users and other stuff turned me off from their distro. So I decided I would give Fedora a try, having used it before. Great distro, except for one thing. I can't get full-screen games to work. I tried searching Google and the forums for an hour, trying a whole bunch of solutions. But I can't get games like World of Goo to run full-screen without a black border all the way around. In Ubuntu, I could configure the games to run pillarboxed (black bars to the sides), using Code: xrandr --output LVDS1 --set PANEL_FITTING full_aspect This would be my preferred mode of operation, since the image is scaled up to fit the height of the screen, but not running in the Fat TV mode that we see on widescreen TVs everywhere. Any ideas how to achieve this on Fedora 11 with Intel graphics? (HowTos)
