As you have read my previous post, I just installed Fuduntu 2012 and really like it. Although Fuduntu is a great distro, there are still several things to take care of after the installing. Here is the list of 10 things I did for my new Fuduntu 2012 box:
1 - Update system
Im using the latest version of Fuduntu but it doesnt mean that I got all the upgrades to the softwares that were bundled.

Fuduntu is mentioned in several comments in my blog and that makes me want to try it. I have never used Fuduntu before and at the first glance, I thought it is just a derivative of Ubuntu with Fluxbox ( I thought the name was Fubuntu), but then I checked again and realized it is based on Fedora and the name is Fuduntu.
The Fuduntu distribution, a Fedora-based operating system that aims to have an Ubuntu feel, is now celebrating two years of existence.

I havent tried any new distro for months. So on the occasion that a new version of Fuduntu got released, I decided to download then install it on my Samsung netbook. As a matter of fact, I had used an older version of Fuduntu last year and somehow liked it.
Hi. I'm brand new here.
I'm running the latest distro of Fuduntu and I like it very much. However, it's stuck with the Gnome 2 desktop -- I would love to have some of Gnome 3's dependencies resolved so I can run apps like Evolution 3.x.
Two features I truly love about Fuduntu. I like the AWN panel and I'm guessing regular Fedora can install AWN.
