If you do a quick search about strategy games in Ubuntu 11.10‘s Software Center, then you may find a lot of strategy games to try but in this post I’ll introduce you with a turn-based tactical strategy game.

The Battle for Wesnoth, a free, turn-based tactical strategy game with a high fantasy theme, featuring both single-player, and online/hotseat multiplayer combat, is now at version 1.11.4.

The Battle for Wesnoth 1.11.4 is a bugfix release for the stable 1.11 series and it comes with some interesting changes.
