I've just recently installed Slackware64 release 13.1 in my HP6910p laptop for the first time. I am a new to Slackware, a "Slack-Baby" if you will, but I am not new to UNIX/Linux. I've built several desktops and a few laptops using Fedora & UBUNTU. But, I really wanted to get to know the Slackware.

I am trying to install XBMC 9.11 on my Slackware64 13.1 machine and experience some major problems. I am trying to install from the Slackbuild script.
I installed absolutely all pre-requisites and all packages necessary to run XBMC. All of them compiled & installed without a single glitch.

Hi I have installed xmms2 from the SlackBuild site. I am running an i3 Desktop with Slackware 14.0 huge smp patched with the latest patches as recommended by the security advisories. I am also running KDE 4.8.5 as my desktop.
