http://gnomedesktop.org – The first beta release (2.29.90) towards GNOME 2.30 has hit the streets. This release is the beginning of the user interface (UI) freeze. Note that this release is not yet ready for production use, but is suitable for developers and testers who are working towards 2.30. The full schedule is available on GNOME.org. The next beta is schedule for February 22. The release announcement has pointers to the tarballs for 2.29.90. (Software)
