Today I discovered that there is a keyboard shortcut (by default) for minimizing windows in Ubuntu 12.04. The shortcut key is Ctrl + Alt + 0. I was trying to minimize windows and suddenly I minimized Cairo dock's workspace switcher and weblet. I am unable to restore them now! They are not appearing anywhere, neither in Cairo-dock nor in the Unity panel.
I'm having some strange behaviour on my HTC one when it comes to a google maps app built with phonegap:
There is always one active marker on the map. If a new one is set, the old is removed with marker.setMap(null), which works perfectly fine in all desktop browser and also on the iPhone. But, on the Android phone, the marker sometimes doesn't dissapear, even though the function is called.
1. Full wipe, clear cache/dalvik itd
2. Restore backup.
SGS3 wake up :) All it's ok (apps/settings etc) but when in try open gallery (images from camera) images dissapear.
In first moment, when I open Gallery I have "old" list (from backup) of images, but I can't open this.
I have a folder which should at any time have less than 500k folders. These folders are created dynamically, and when the files (images) inside them are deleted by some script, the folder itself should also be deleted.
I've been moving my apps around on my app pages, but I want to move them to different pages.
I have three pages, and want to organise them into folders, but they're spread out over the pages.
Is it possible to move apps to different pages?
I'm pleased to report I've successfully installed Kubuntu and Windows 7 on my new Asus netbook as a dual boot. Things are running fine so far, except that the windows in Kubuntu are missing the minimize button. I tried right clicking at the top of the window and choosing "More actions" and then "Special window settings," but I can't find a way to add that minimize button.
I'm a new user of Linux/Ubuntu. After changing the document root in the sites-available default file at the Terminal to a directory on my local machine, Firefox cannot find the server for any pages on remote servers (Google, for example). How do I fix this so I can host pages locally and view remotely-hosted pages too?
