I am using a server with windows server 2008 r2 running on it to run my program. The CPU of the server is Intel xeon x5570 2.93GHz with 2 processors, 8 cores per processer.
However, I found that the cpu usage is almost always below 10% even I use 32 threads in my program.
Hi,
I'm having an issue with Guitarix, a guitar effects program. It has knobs that you click and drag to change the values like gain, treble, distortion, etc. In KDE, when I click and drag the button, The whole program window moves and the focus on the knob I am trying to adjust is lost. When I release the mouse button and move the mouse around, the knob value changes, but it is very erratic.
Is there any way I can run a game server (MW3) under wine without requiring a window manager present?
Currently to run windows only game servers on my Ubuntu box, I have to start them using RDP access as this creates a X session which the program (which has its own GUI).
If you have multiple windows of one program and you click the icon twice in the launcher, it will pan out and show all the windows of the program.
Here's my issue.
Hello fine Gentlemen,
i have the following problem and i primarily want to have a way how to analyse this.
My problem is that somehow Ubuntu keeps locking me in a certain window/editor. i can then
not switch to another one using the mouse or Keyboard. I can however close the window,
giving the focus to another window.
Can someone give me a use case for setting up a Windows Server 2008 Task Scheduler task (we'll call this "test") that completes (action completed is task=201) with an error (result code=2)?
I am getting annoyed by windows under X opening and taking focus away from the current window which has focus.
I have installed OpenSSH on my windows 2008 server by following the user guide here . Now I have some files on windows network share with UNC path as
\\corp\test\testdata
I want map this file system on network share to my windows 2008 server which is configred with SFTP so that I can access these files from my Java Program by doing SFTP to windows 2008 server. How can I do that?
System: I have XUbuntu 12.04 64bit and run Terminal 0.4.8 (Xfce Terminal Emulator).
Problem: My Terminal always stops to accept any input after I close a program window started from the Terminal.
Details: For example, I start leafpad, (or geany, tkdiff etc) from the terminal. I close the window after finishing my job by either clicking on the close button or using ctrl-w.
