For those of you in Florida and having no data service. Sprint has confirm that they are waiting for the info to what to come. Something is happening in Florida that they can't explain.
So no need to call Sprint with complaints people. Get on WiFi!
They have advice me they will call me with details of this issue.

Two weeks ago, I switched from using an LG Optimus V on Virgin Mobile to an LG Marquee on Ting. So far Ting has been great. Ting's website is much more friendly than VM's, and their customer service people (for the one phone call I needed them) were also much better. I was paying $25/mo x 2 phones = $50 for VM. For the same use, I expect to pay only $34 on Ting.
I'm currently on my parents plan and have unlimited data and don't plan on losing it. I use about 10 gb a month, so taking the hit or switching to tmo and getting throttled is not an option.
So if ur on Sprint, how is their service and would you recommend a switch of u were me?
So, is anyone else having a service outage tonight? About 2 hours ago, both my voice and data quit working. My account is current and is set to renew early next month.
About an hour ago, the 3G data services came back, but the voice calls are still out.
I love it when cell phone carriers fight for my business, it usually means I come out on top. Generally this results in a waived activation fee or a couple of free cases, but Sprint is taking it to a whole new level. How you ask?
I have multiple applications and a single service, i want to create a communication between the apps and the service. I am saving the value in the service which one of the application has sent. Now I am trying to read the same value by some another application from the service.
How this can be achieved?
After hours in front of a computer and more time spent with the "mopho" than i would care to admit; i was able to get the device to operate entirely on verizons network with a Verizon sim. Only can get data at this point but no phone/dialer etc. When placing calls it directs to verizon customer service, yet i can browse the internet fine without wifi.....

I have been facing a problem since past 2 days. My exchange service downloads 100mbs of data all of a sudden, even when only 5-6 emails have been exchanged in that time. Since I have limited data plan, its becoming impossible to keep my 3g service on.
The data usage shows that Exchange downloaded 350 out of 360 MB yesterday.
This never happened before.
I have owned the GNEX since September 2011 and have finally been fed up with the signal issues. Im not very tech savy so i just figured it was the service being my problem. Yet my girlfriend just recieved a Samsung S3 and we will sit home and i will have 1 bar or even no service and she will have full service. This has been bothering me more and more as of late.
