The upcoming GNOME 3.8 desktop environment will allow users to easily connect to their ownCloud and Flickr accounts, via the GNOME Online Accounts app. GNOME Online Accounts 3.7.1 was released a couple of weeks ago, but no one noticed that it implemented the OAuth 2.0 authentication protocol for Google, and support for the ownCloud and Flickr services.

How can I add accounts?
