http://askubuntu.com – First, thank you in advance for any help that you can give a recent transplant from Windows to Ubuntu. I have a question that I have been seeking the answer too but I draw a blank at every turn. I design websites, free of charge, for nonprofit organizations that are just starting and do not have the resources to hire a design firm. I am in need of a flash/swf editor and compiler. I had a program that I used with the awful previous O/S, however WINE would not run the program. Thank you in advance for any help that you can offer. Hello world, I am looking for a 3d home design software for linux that would be non-java based, nor wine, application, and that would be the best of the best that is being available for linux today.

Which software for Linux could make 3d home design for a house or rooms?

A program directly for our repositories without java would be amazing.

I have an exe program that's based on java ---said to be cross platform enabled.

This exe program runs well on windows. I have tried numerous times to install it via wine on ubuntu--latest attempt being on 12.04 lts 64 bit, but it always returns an error 'Launch 4J--Can't find Java 1.5.0'.

My favorite editor is vim, but some others prefer nano, or emacs, nano reminds me WordStar, anyway. Cron job default editor which is invoqued by the command crontab -e is vi, while I prefer vim, and you may prefer nano, you can use this command. env EDITOR=nano crontab -e or as I usually do: env EDITOR=vim crontab -e

I have a question which is related to the GUI design in android. If you look Android design architecture, We have tabular structure in design view.
