I don't have the Photon-Q, but decided to build CM10 for it anyway. I have a test build ready for anyone that wants to try it. It will flash with TWRP or CWMP or you can download the system.img and use fastboot.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! FLASHING AND STUFFS CAN LEAD TO BORKEN JUNKS AND WE DON'T WANT THAT! WEAR A LIFE VEST!
after rooting my phone by following the newbie guide i decided to try to do s-off. i finally got s-off and got my phone booted into the new hboot that it installed. i saw that cm10 required you to not be on hboot 1.57 so i installed the new hboot that was in the "fix everything" thread at the top. after installing the new hboot (1.04) i went to flash cm10.
so basically no matter what i do i end up stuck during the stock rom flash, ive been stuck at "recovery", "boot.img", and everywhere else, first it takes me about 20 trys for the flash to even start, then just gets stuck somewhere during the flash, when i say stuck, i mean that i leave it be for about 10 mins to see if it will do anything, which it never does, im using odin 3.0
Hi everyone,
I was on stock Gingerbread UCKE3.
I tried installing Speedmod kernel so that I could flash Cyanogenmod 9 using this method, however it didn't work and the phone was softbricked. Which was still alright, because I could still unbrick it every time with One-Click Unbrick.
So I decided to flash back to stock JF6 with Odin one-click, and it was stuck at sbl.bin for an hour.
I had been rooted, with TWRP recovery, and CM7, and Gapps.
Wanted to go back to stock. Brought up Kindle fire utility, downloaded stock update, transferred to fire via usb, used TWRP to flash stock update.
Vola, back to stock kindle fire. Re-rooted with Kindle fire utility, and then my mistake, I flashed the CM7 Gapps into stock kindle.
Got stuck on "touch me android screen".
I had CM10 on my phone, and today I tried flashing back to stock and now am stuck on the Samsung logo on boot.
Here's the process I've followed:
Wipe/Factory reset using CWM
Deleted everything on internal SD card
Downloaded T999UVALEM_T999TMBALEM_T999UVALEM_HOME.tar.md5
Flashed using Odin
Odin said successful, but on reboot it never gets passed the Samsung logo
I tried flashing again, but th
So I woke up this morning and I was running CM10, goo manager told me I had an update so I applied the update and low and behold it was CM9 on boot. Needless to say CM9 would not boot because nothing was wiped. So I decided to go back and re-flash 10 (CWM touch). So wiped and it said could not mount user data. after re-flashing it again would not boot.
I was on locked on stock OTA JB.
I unlocked a few days ago, then last night flashed TWRP. Created a nandroid, then rooted.
Today I've spent several hours downloading ROMs, doing Titanium backups, surfing forums, backing up my personal files etc. i.e. using my tablet normally without problems.
I decided it was time to flash a ROM so booted in TWRP to create a fresh nandroid.
