i flashed to 10.1 and now when i go to restore a previous backup, it just says "no files found" and i suddenly have a lot of /0/ folders. how can i fix this?
Browse to the folder containing the file you lost.
Click File ▸ Restore Missing Files .
When the Restore dialog appears, it will scan for files that are in the backup but no longer in the folder.
When you see the file you want to restore appear, select it and click Forward.
Review your selections and click Restore.
Please help me.
I have Jellyblast installed on my ace-i. Then I found another custom rom for ace-i called "Ace-I-Sure". I downloaded it. Before flashing the rom, I did a nandroid backup. After the backup, I flashed the ace-i-sure, then rebooted. Unfortunately, I was stuck on the boot screen (softbricked). So I booted to recovery mode and did a nandroid restore.
I've got a friend who got a new Captivate from the US. And he flashed CM10 right after getting it, without making a backup of the efs folder. Now, the efs partition is completely empty, and of course it says "Unknown baseband, unknown imei", etc".
I've looked around, but all the imei restore methods seem to require at least one efs file. However in this case we have none.
I just flashed the latest version of cm10.1 and now i have an R over my signal bar. Can someone tell me how to fix this? This happened once before when i flashed the 12182012 cm10.1 and it took me forever to fix.
HP Pavilion m9250f puts backups on the second HDD (E:)
It has a front panel button marked, "HP Easy Backup" and there are a lot of previous owners backups in there.
Internet research tell me there is a "first" backup that was created on first startup. Is it important to not delete that?
Can I just open Windows Explorer and manually delete the previous owners backups?
