Those of you out there who own a variant of the Sony Xperia T smartphone are about to get a taste of some buttery goodness in the near-future. According to the PTCRB website, a new firmware version of 9.1.A.0.489 has been certified for the Xperia T (LT30p) and Xperia TX (LT29i) smartphones— which effectively moves the software up from Ice Cream Sandwich to Jelly Bean.
Recently, Sony came out with yet another Xperia smartphone - the sony xperia. This is a PlayStation certified device, which means that it has access to some PlayStation games. The smartphone has been projected as an entertainment device by Sony, emphasizing its music/video playback, faster processor and gaming capabilities.

The Xperia Z2, Sony’s flagship smartphone for this half of 2014, is receiving a small over-the-air update. It is still Android 4.4.2 KitKat, but the build has gone from 17.1.A.2.55 to 17.1.A.2.69 with this OTA update. There are some reports that Sony has shipped this build with some Xperia Z2 handsets and those without it will be getting it now.
currently I'm copying music to my rooted android 2.3.6 smartphone with Rhythmbox -- as soon as I connect the smartphone in USB mode to the PC and mount the SD card, I see it as device in my Rhythmbox player -- works like a charm :)
My new Smartphone will have android 4.x -- today I tried to convince a friend of mine that is easy to manage music library with ubuntu and android.
