http://www.talkandroid.com – One of the biggest new features on the HTC One was Zoe, which is a new way to take multiple pictures and videos and do some really creative things with them. HTC Zoe will allow you to stitch together your photos and videos into a 30 second film, complete with background music, and will definitely make some splashes on social media. Zoe Share takes those clips and your other pictures, trims them up into and uploads them onto HTC’s servers to be shared with friends and family (and strangers), and we’re finally seeing the servers to that go live, already hosting a few Zoe Shares t (IT news)

I just built a new media/backup server using Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. I installed a hard drive to be used only for music, pictures, and videos and formatted it fat32 so my 1 and only Windows PC could map those folders as netshares. My laptop, also running Ubuntu 12.04, is what I am using the most so new media is first downloaded on my laptop.

All my computers are running some form of OpenSuSE 11. I have a SLES11 file server that stores Pictures, Movies, and Music. I would like my kids to be able to mount the share when its missing. Dont want the mount to be automatic during boot incase of not being connected to the network such as when using laptops at friends home.
