Is there an option in fire fox to run it via LAN???
After connecting to other user by SSH,
and if type
on the command prompt,
will it pop up other user's fire fox window?
and I'm using
today I tried to launch firefox from my awesome-wm launcher and instead
of being offered firefox after typing fire, the prompt finished showing
me alternatives and being a little lazy I just pushed enter.
I am a completely new user of Fedora. I just installed Fedora 14. I know that is old but I have to use it because some of my simulation software only work in Fedora 14.
My problem is about update Firefox.
My current version is 3.6.24. I went to this page to download the latest firefox.
I have Fedora 8 installed on a computer I purchased from Eracks. It has Fedora 8 and boots up with GNOME active. When launching Fire Fox it says cannot find server. The computer is plugged into a wireless router (my lap top is wireless) that plugs into a cable modem.
During downloads, the top command shows the Firefox process at 100% CPU. Yesterday I tried to download an .iso image. After a few hours the Firefox window would not refresh nor would it respond to input. I tried the wget command. It used negligible CPU time and completed in 28 minutes.
This problem is easy to reproduce because it happens every time I download a file in Firefox.
I downloaded Fedora 20 within the last month. When I use Google Docs it squawks about an updated version of Firefox. The version that I am using is 25. When I go to the Firefox entry in the Software applicaiton it only gives me an option to remove. Is Fedora only supporting or blessing the 25 version of Firefox at this time?
