I would take this question over to Mozilla.org and not here at askubuntu.com except for the following:
This is a brand new install of Ubuntu, Firefox and Thunderbird.
On the same computer I also have band new installs of Firefox and Thunderbird for the Wondows7 partition. And they are running perfectly.
One of the Firefox lockups is totally reproducible.
Search the web tried a few different fixes and thus far all have failed.
When i click on a URL in the body of a Thunderbird email nothing happens.
If i right click > open in browser nothing happens.
I am currently re-setting up the apparmor profile for Firefox 19.0.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 and I am slightly confused.
Recently, various versions of Firefox and Thunderbird released.
Hello,
In Ubuntu 12.04 I can see this behaviour:in my thunderbird screen when I click in any link inside of email, that action show me the firefox immediately loading the page... that avoid me continue reading the email or click in others links. so I need do ctrol + tab and comeback to TB to continue my reading....
Is there a way to avoid it?
Since I use Chrome or Chromium and use Gmail for emails, I have no need for Thunderbird or Firefox.
No problems removing Thunderbird but when I try to remove Firefox, it wants to install Epiphany and it's dependencies.
How do I just remove Firefox and leave Chrome as the only browser?
Having difficulty re-installing Firefox, after an installation to resolve places.sqlite issues. It appears that I'm trapped in circular dependency hell.
Need to resolve firefox dependency hell to attempt to resolve Tomcat6 project dependencies (don't ask), ASAP.

I'd upgrade to Slackware64-14.0 and when I was with 13.1, I had the latest firefox and thunderbird installed by scripts, each one in my native language. But now I would like to use the official slackware's packages, and notice that they show up in english after I upgraded to slackware64-14.0.
