Firefox 3.5.x takes huge amount of time while adding addon

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi, When I search addons with firefox, it takes 4 mins to connect to server, and after approving to ad it, it again takes that much time to connect to download. While downloading it's ok, but connecting to server takes time. This is for all addons. Is there any body having same issue? (Distributions)

I noticed not all firefox addons worked with Iceweasel.So i decided to install Firefox 3.6.2 just to see how it works.I can tell you this,,The addons i wanted ''Cooliris to name one'' installed no problem.Load time is faster then it ever was in 9.04,and to top it all off it kept all my iceweaselbookmarks and preferences.I really dont see any performance disadvantages to firefox

Hey all. I noticed that it takes a couple more seconds before Ubuntu connects to my wireless network when it wakes up from sleep. I didn't have this annoyance when I was using 10.04, and only appeared when I upgraded to 10.10. It takes about 5-7 seconds before it indicates that it's connecting.

I have two shared drives that travel with me when I log into remote servers.

I find that Windows Serve 2008 R2 hosts have a hard time accessing them quickly.

I am facing a huge delay while uploading and downloading files from my Windows Amazon EC2 server to my android device.

It takes around 50 seconds to upload then download 500 Kbytes image.

My location is in asia and the server is is US-East.

I pinged the server from my android and obtained values around 500 ms for RTT.

Is this normal? How is this explained?

I had a problem ever since I moved to Firefox 3.6 where if I installed the java plugin Firefox would just hang. I didn't matter if I installed the sun or the iced tea one, or whether I installed via yast or manually using the files from Sun. Been searching for ages and have found plenty of forums with people who have this problem but no solution.

Can anyone tell me why the installing old addons method by changing the install.rdf max version is not working with Tab Mix Plus? I changed the maxVersion to both 17.* and 17.0. I get the error message: Tab mix plus could not be installed because it is not compatible with firefox 17.0.
