Firefox 13 does not see Flash plugin under F14

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – F14 is not supplied with FF newer than v.3 from the repository, and to get more sights to work I had to deploy FF v.13.0.1 from Mozilla. It works for most part, but one thing - it does not see that Adobe Flash plugin is installed. I've put new version of FF into /opt/firefox and it recognized all the other addons automatically. What am I doing wrong? (HowTos)

In a fresh installed or upgraded Ubuntu, first thing to do is install flash plugin for web browser to enjoy flash videos. As a beginner, we use Ubuntu Software Center to search and install applications. In Ubuntu 11.10, the Ubuntu Software Center shows two: Adobe Flash Plugin 10 and Adobe Flash Plugin. Is it just me or does Firefox just eat memory when running a page with flash? I have the 64bit Flash plugin installed (as downloaded from adobe and installed into my .mozilla/plugins folder)

Hello

Been having problems with flash, and I really need some help.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall in yast no luck. uninistalled again.

I downloaded and installed Adobe Flash 10 rpm direct from adobe. I shut down firefox and then restarted...went to youtube.... no luck. I get the annoying error:

I have the ubuntu adobe flash player plugin from the software centre.. and By the way i am on ubuntu 10.10 since this computer can't handle the newer ubuntu.. :|. I'm wondering how do i do a clean install of the flash player plugin? I know to uninstall it but is there a profile folder that it is in that i should delete after the sudo apt-get remove of it?

I failed to install flash-plugin on my firefox My firefox is installed on path "/home/<<user>>/firefox"

1) I tried to install flash plugin by rpm -Uvh flash-plugin-10.0.32.18-release-i386.rpm It is not working as the files are not installed on the folder /home/<<user>>/firefox/

2) yum install flash-plugin

The title says it all, Flash Aid has not helped the situation & Google has not thrown up any recent similarities.

I am running Xubuntu LTS.

Though the Software center is showing that "Adobe Flash Plugin" is installed in my computer, which is a Compaq Presario c700 running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, yet some websites like www.youtube.com is prompting me to download Adobe Flash Plugin to view online streaming. PS: I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Plugin

Shockwave plugin for Firefox 3 years 29 weeks ago

I installed shockwave to try and get a game working. The game ended up not working correctly and shockwave installe da plugin to play flash content in Firefox. So now Firefox won't play flash content. I removed Shckwave but Shockwave left the plugin for Firefox. I cannot seem to getrid of it I even reintalled the flash plugin to no avil.
