http://serverfault.com – I'm currently developing a documents fileshare service, and it becomes more and more evident that my very basic configuration with a server from Plesk is unsufficient for my needs. I.e. I'm starting 3-4 downloads on the server and loading the website on it is slow. Basically, I'm not searching for direct company name nor for anyone making promotion of his services, but for the actual name of a cloud infrastructure that is made to receive very heavy traffic, and not just some requests to server html pages, that can handles millions of file transfer every months. I'm not thinking about designi (HowTos)

I have a website running on a Linux Debian Squeeze server with Apache 2. The website is the only one on the server and the traffic to the website is very low (800-1000 connection per day).

The problem is that when I run the website on Chrome the "Wait" time is very long (1 min, 2 min) before the page is loaded.

I tired to search around for some simple instructions, but no luck. So please help me.

I ma noob with servers. Don't know much about ti at all. I have VPS server with cPanel on it. Server is 8GB/Ultimate at GoDaddy. Now lately my website traffic is growing and running server into heavy load. usually is 3.00 or 4.00, but run into 40 the other day.

Well i guess i can't make this question cuz' is like a discussion but i don't know what to do... i want to know what is better for a large traffic website... an example.
