File transfers slow down.

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – When I was transferring a 5.8gb movie from windows over to fedora the file operations window opened up which shows the progress of the transfer. The details of the amount of data being copied doesn't show until I hit my max transfer speed(i'm assuming) which is about 92 MB/s. Once it shows the speed i'm moving data at that speed does nothing but slow down. The transfer ended up slowing down to about 30 MB/s and obviously took longer than it should have at 92 MB/s. Now I'm not sure if this is a bug or what. I don't know what speeds I'm supposed to copy at or if gnome is telling me something (HowTos)
