http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi to all. I always get the error reported in the title of this thread, each time that I try and run a windows application through Wine. Last time I got it, it was when installing FreeGate: Quote: Error while loading application settings by key: 'WineLibs'. File or path not exists: "/usr/lib/wine" Please, go to q4wine options dialog and set it. After ignoring the error message, the application installation failed with the error shown in the attached picture. Any clue? Thanks. Regards. Attached (Hardware)

Hi all,

Been unsuccessful in trying to install wine on my 11.3 KDE4 x86_64 system, from the Emulators:Wine/openSUSE_11.3 repo.

This is what my zypper throws up:

Code: Installing: wine-32bit-1.2-4.1 [error]

I wanna wine a windows .exe program. first time i wine it ,i get an error message :"mfc42.dll cant be found" then i install it with winetricks i wine it again, this time i get

"fixme:toolhelp:CreateToolhelp32Snapshot Unimplemented: heap list snapshot"

I just dont know what it means , can anybody help ?

Wine and Civ4 v1.74 issues 1 year 38 weeks ago

I have been trying to get Civ4 v1.74 to work in wine, and it seems to work for everyone else, so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.I am on Arch64 and running wine-1.3.26.

Photoshop CS2 is right there on the main Wine AppDB page as a Platinum-level application that should "just work". It was the big bragging piece when Wine 1.0 was released. But I am unable to install Photoshop CS2 in openSUSE 11.2.

I install wine and add some winetricks stuff, so when I do

wine /path/l2.exe

I see next error

Can somebody tell me what can i do to fix this problem.
