Galaxy S4 -> USB OTG cable -> Fiio E17 headphone amp/DAC -> self modded Fostex T50rp headphones.
I'm not sure how many people on here care about high quality audio, or know about USB OTG, or know of this phones ability to output digital audio. Anyway, this is possible on this phone along with certain digital to analog converters, with my Fiio E17 being one of them.
well it has been a while since I checked back, I am on 2.6 and I will upgrade and try again. Too bad you apparently got banned. I will also check to find the readme. Thank you for your responce if you ever read this.
I have a headphone with three button on it, which can control the music player with my phone, And now I want to write a driver for my headphone, I want to make it to control my music player on my pc(ubuntu linux), so I think I should write a spacial for my device, I have some basic knowledge about kernel program and linux device drivers.
I am running OpenBSD/i386 5.1 on a 5 year old laptop. The speakers and headphone port work, but the headphone port is a little loose so I am trying to install an external USB sound card (Fiio E17 USB DAC). No problems using it on Windows.
The device is detected and I created a node for it in /dev with sh /dev/MAKEDEV audio1, then linked the rest of the devices to point to the new sound card.
Hi,I'm new to crunchbang but not new to linux and I think this distro is really awesome :)The only thing is, I am having one problem which is preventing me from using crunchbang for the time being. I have recently grabbed the nVidia driver manual installer from their website (because nothing else will work, on crunchbang or other distros).
I am trying to find what hardware is connect to the "Intel® SCH LPC Interface Controller 8119" on my ClarionMind UMPC. It came pre loaded with a locked down version of moblin Linux and I loaded it with windows xp. Please don't hate me for putting windows on this device as I plan on trying out some Ubuntu on it as well later.
I am completely new to CrunchBang and after installing it i was disappointed to find that i cannot connect to the internet, i have no idea where to start and what to do, it is installed on a desktop so it is hard to move to a wired connection! What should i do?i have looked at the website and previous questions and answers but they don't answer my question.
